Having a bite at Hotel Diderot
The Hôtel Diderot does not have a restaurant, but we can offer you a complete menu of quality recipes to create your customized dinner.
We invite you to taste the recipes from Bocaux du Bocage: traditional, artisanal, local dishes of soups, gourmet rillettes, traditional French recipes, and desserts.
The recipes from Bocaux du Bocage are made from carefully selected fresh produce. Slow-cooked and canned without any additives, they retain all their flavor and nutritional qualities. We always favor short circuits and French agriculture: all the jars are made in La Jumelière (Chemillé-en-Anjou, southwest of Angers).
Some examples of our local, traditional dishes?
For small appetites: rillettes (pork spread) or vegetable soups…
For a more substantial meal: guinea fowl with cider, rabbit with prunes, veal blanquette, chicken Basquaise, vegetable risotto, two-fish brandade…
And for desserts… Panna cotta, rice pudding, chocolate fondant, apple clafoutis, pear and chocolate clafoutis…
All locally sourced (produced in Chemillé-en-Anjou).
Whether you’d like a bite to eat upon arrival, a snack or dinner at the hotel, place your order with our receptionists. You’ll be served at the bar, in your room, or, weather permitting, on the terrace, and you can accompany your meal with an excellent glass of Chinon wine.
Enjoy your meal!
